Verification Notifications, Payout Rail Improvements, UI Fixes

This weeks updates from UpsideOnly.com: A variety of bugs were fixed this week, along with platform wide improvements on UI functionality and themes. Verification decisions are no longer silent either: an approval or a denial arrives as a notification and an email, and a denial names a reason rather than offering one generic sentence for every case. Alongside that, the withdrawal minimum drops from $5 to $1, the Transactions page gains an Adjustment filter. Underneath it all, fourteen FAQ answers have been improved. Portfolio card on Home stops counting an open short twice.

Improvements to the verification flow for preventing users who work for a publicly traded company on USO's tradeable asset list shipped. If a user is identified as working for a relevant public company, any position the user already held in it is closed at its entry price with the stake and short collateral returned, and the user is told so in a dialog and an email. Index funds are a different asset class and are not covered. A user whose employer is publicly traded but not on the list picks Company Not Included.
A verification decision now reaches the user. An approval or a denial sends an entry to Notifications and an email, where before the status flipped, the account quietly changed what it could do, and the user had to work out why. A denial also names the reason — an unreadable document, a date-of-birth mismatch, a name mismatch — so someone whose photo simply did not scan is told that.
The Transactions page has listed balance adjustments for some time, but there was no way to pull up just those rows. An Adjustment filter now sits alongside the other filter chips.
The smallest withdrawal a user can request is now $1, down from $5. The figure the withdrawal form checks against and the copy printed around it now come from one place, so the amount named in an error is always the amount actually enforced.
Scrollbars now match the rest of the design everywhere the app scrolls, including the lists a select box opens, which used to fall back to whatever the operating system supplied. The dropdowns users meet on the way through Profile, Verification and the deposit and withdrawal forms now share one keyboard-operable control, so arrow keys, Home, End, Escape and type-ahead behave the same in all of them.
Opening a short moved the Portfolio card on Home by twice the size of the position — a $20,000 short added $40,000. The proceeds of a short are credited to the balance the moment it opens, and the card was adding the position on top of that credit. It now counts once. The header balance and the Trade page were correct throughout. This was a visualization bug, not a portfolio calculation bug.
Improved FAQ answers for 14 questions.
The red and green used for gains, losses, fills and bid/ask now hold to the same contrast as the rest of light mode, across Trade, Home, Transactions and Profile. On the Leader Board, an expanded market card drew its table rules and outlines in green whatever color the card itself was; they now follow the card.
In the Trade page order history, a cancelled order's badge was drawn with a line through it, now fixed.
Depositing less than a dollar returned "Minimum purchase is $1.00". Nothing is being purchased, so the message now says deposit, in each of the four languages using the word that language already uses for a deposit.

Weekly Payout Columns, a Pinned Order Button, and a Redesigned Notification Center

Another week, another set of fixes and features from the team! The calculations for payouts on the Leaderboard are improved by fixing a bug. The Trade panel's Submit button is pinned to the bottom of the order form so it stays reachable regardless of how far the panel is scrolled. The Glossary and FAQ have received some content updates. The notification center has been redesigned around date grouping and filters. Bugs related to banking information in India, Kenya and Zambia are fixed, along with a ton of smaller fixes that landed underneath it all.

The weekly Leaderboard now shows the figures a payout is calculated from, marks the paying window, and lets users sort on those columns.
On Trade, the submit button used to scroll out of view with the rest of the order form. It is now pinned to the bottom of the panel on both desktop and mobile, so users can reach it while still up at the amount, direction or Stop Loss / Take Profit controls.
The Spread entry in the Glossary now explains why a fill price differs from the price on screen, walking through bid, ask and mid price. It also names the only two places a spread is charged -- opening at market and closing at market -- and says plainly that a limit order, stop loss or take profit fills at the level the user chose - so long as it's not directly marketable.
The registered office address now appears on every public page -- the landing page footer, the legal pages and the FAQ -- and matches the address published in the Privacy Policy.
Notifications now groups updates by date, colour-codes each one by kind, and adds a filter bar so users can narrow the list to just the updates they care about.
The projected payout on the Leaderboard is now a more specific estimate of a user's own share rather than the average for their payout rank cohort, and shows a dash instead of a number while it is still being worked out.
Saving a payout bank from these countries showed a warning and then a generic error. India now asks for an IFSC code, and Kenya and Zambia collect the details their local payment rails need. A bank that is genuinely refused now says so up front instead of looking like it saved.
An announcement that reached its expiry date vanished from Notifications entirely. Past announcements now stay in a user's history, marked Expired.
On Home, a long asset name in the portfolio legend painted over the profit-and-loss figure next to it. Long names are now clipped, with the full name in a tooltip, and the columns are sized so ordinary names still read in full.
On pages with little content, such as Notifications and the leaderboard, the footer sat directly under the content with empty space beneath it. It now sits at the bottom of the window.

New Notification Center, Weekly Competitions, and International Withdrawals

Straight out of the Dev-Cave here at UpsideOnly.com, This week UpsideOnly.com launched several important features, including a notification center which displays updates in-app instead of leaving everything to email. You can expect to see banners, modals, and email communications. Alongside it, weekly competitions went live with $5,000 in Bitcoin and $5,000 in Gold on the line. Withdrawals expanded to more global regions. The leader board also reset for the new competition season, and a slew of bug fixes landed underneath it all.

Added a notification center for centralized communication for features, platform, account, trade and payout updates - updates will come in-app, and via email . Users can open it any time from Notifications.
Weekly competitions on Gold and BTC are live, with $5,000 in Bitcoin and $5,000 in Gold up for grabs. Standings update through the week on the Leader Board.
Added the Payout Simulator, so users can see what a payout could look like before committing to anything.
Withdrawals have expanded to more international regions. Users can add them under Payment in your Profile.
The Leader Board and account history were cleared for the start of the new competition season.
Renovated the Leader Board to show each market as a modular, independent board with helpful information about competition timing, and current earning potential per user.
Reduced the time it takes for a KYC submission to be approved. Users can submit or review under Verification in Profile.
Fixed an issue where an unknown address showed the browser's own error instead of UpsideOnly.com's Page Not Found screen.
Fixed an issue where valid bank accounts, including Australian ones, were rejected on save. An unrecognized bank code now shows a badge instead of blocking the save.
Order History on the Trade page now reads as a flat list of events rather than nested parent and child groups.
Withdrawal requests and approvals now stop up front when a bank's country cannot be verified, instead of failing later in the process.

New Sign-In System, Login Security, and Bug Fixes

Aug 10, 2026 · Rebuilt sign-in on a new authentication provider — same account, same password, faster login.

From the depths of the Dev-Cave here at UpsideOnly.com, This week's list is short, but it hides two weeks of engineering work and an overnight cutover on August 5-6: sign-in now runs on a new authentication service, fully replacing the previous provider we launched on. All accounts were migrated, so nothing changes for users beyond a single re-login — if yours doesn't take, use Forgot Password.

We've replaced the legacy authentication provider with a new service for faster, more reliable sign-ins. User accounts will carry over - they may need to log in again on the next visit.
Adjusted the alignment of the FAQ + Help search bar so that it aligns with the content.

Birthday KYC step, Balance Adjustments, Pricing Precision, and Bug Fixes

Jul 30, 2026 · New birthday wizard step and single-user balance adjustments, with localized KYC and calendar screens plus finer quote and spread handling.

Dedicated "When's your birthday?" wizard step replacing the DOB text field inputs on other steps.
Assets whose feeds only publish a single price now show a spread for bid and ask, so every market has a two-sided quote.
Date pickers share one calendar layout, with month and weekday names drawn from user's selected language.
TradingView layout, drawings, and settings are saved and persist quicker and more reliably.
The withdraw dialog keeps its heading state intact and now shows an error message when a withdrawal request fails.
The active-state icon now picks the correct green color for light and dark mode instead of staying locked to one theme's color.
Adjustments that would push a balance below zero are blocked, and network failures now surface an error instead of appearing to succeed.
The Back, Close, Today, and month-navigation labels now appear in the user's selected language instead of falling back to English.
The approved, pending, and rejected screens for basic verification now display in the user's selected language.
Under-review status is now the same across the user's saved profile, current session, and the status display, so it no longer flips between states.
Verification now states 3-4 business days to match actual review times, and the result screens no longer show blank or missing text.
Limit and other resting orders now store the mid price at the moment users submitted them, so order history and fill comparisons are accurate.
Quotes add decimal places as needed so tight spreads display as two distinct prices instead of rounding into one.
Fixed an issue where the first journey tile on the landing page would load blank until hovered for some users.
Fixed single-user balances that were incorrectly being displayed in UI.

User Label Addition and Bug Fixes

Jul 27, 2026 · Market orders now always fill at live prices, streaks lost to the July 20 outage are restored, and we fixed page crashes on balance adjustments plus runaway winning-trade animations.

Added a "User ID" label to the copyable ID on user profile page.
Stops the queuing of winning trade rockets while the tab is hidden (which would redeploy causing frame-loss and crashes in some cases).
Never allow market orders to fill at stale entry prices. Resolved affected accounts as well.
Render balance adjustment updates without crashing the page.
Bridge the 2026-07-20 streak loss for affected users.
